Education

School

Many schools are looking forward to warmly welcoming your children. In Slovakia, school attendance is compulsory for children under the age of 16. If parents have started the process of applying for asylum or temporary refuge, they can contact schools in the vicinity of their place of residence. A school is obliged to accept new pupils in a class, as long as the number of students does not exceed the capacity. Just bring confirmation from the foreign police, and everything else can be arranged directly at your chosen school.
