Profesia is the largest job portal in Slovakia. You will find job vacancies marked “Можливість для людей з України” or “Opportunity for people from Ukraine”. The website is available in Ukrainian.

In addition, you can also create your CV in Ukrainian or English for free. You can highlight that you have achieved temporary refugee status and you can publish your CV in the database for employers.

ISTP – online job market guide

At ISTP, you will find, in addition to job offers, a questionnaire in which you can fill in the city and / or job area in which you would like to work in Slovakia. The questionnaire is available in Ukrainian, English and Slovak. The data will be provided to the employers’ associations, the migration office in Slovakia and registered employers in the ISTP who are looking for new employees.

Digital, creative and IT environment

Pretlak

Job offers in digital, creative and IT environment can be found on the portal Pretlak.com. If you are a developer, designer, marketer or creative worker, you will find dozens of offers at Pretlak, which are marked as “Creative Ukraine Program”.

SGDA

If you are dedicated to (or want to do) digital game development, you will find job vacancies exclusively in this area on the SGDA – Slovak Game Developers Association portal. The site also includes other useful resources, including a list of institutions and initiatives dedicated to game development education.

Opportunities beyond borders

Workania.eu

The Workania.eu portal will help you find a job in the surrounding countries. Apart from Slovakia, it groups vacancies for Ukrainian-speaking people in the Czech Republic and Poland. You will also find information on obtaining a work permit, the labor market in Slovakia, salary conditions and labor legislation.

The IOM Migration Information Center offers free advice on job search, labor market orientation, interview preparation and more. The consultations take place primarily by telephone and e-mail.
